A Word from Josh: For a second night in a row, we returned to a room we haven't been to in several years. In this case, it was a room that we played several times during our early days back in 1999 (It was called Main Attraction then). We appreciated their support of our brand new band, but when our popularity started to take off we felt that outgrew this place. Returning now, it's not hard to see why we felt that way. This is a smaller room and the ceiling is pretty low for a show like ours. The show went pretty well but it seemed to take a while for the locals to join in the excitement. Like last night, we had a lot of support from people coming in from out of town. Also like last night, we had friends visiting us from Chicago -- in this case Anna and Monica, who were checking out the band for the first time after having seen John perform down in Illinois. By early in the second set things were getting pretty wild. Some people even went a little too far and kept Dan busy escorting people from the stage. That's OK though, 'comes with the territory. Toward the end of the night the crowd thinned out more than usual, but there were still plenty of crazies sticking around to make it a fun night overall. - Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Peter: "I came down from Milwaukee to see you guys play one last time before I go back to Europe next week. During the last 7 months I saw you guys playing 7 times. This was truly where rock is all about ! Thanks for the fun, I never forget Cherrypie and maybe you should do a tour in Europe. Sure we love it !!!!!" Anna: "You really rocked at Break Shots last night. I am glad that Monica and I ventured north of the border to see you. The drive was truly worth it. We plan on doing again!" Monica "Momo": "Saturday's show was "like TOTALLY awesome dudes!!!!" :) Anna and I had a WONDERFUL time, and the drive from Chicago was well worth it. We defintely had to "check" you guys out!" Teri: "What A truly Kick Ass gig! It was like every piece fit together. Some girls had a little to much to drink! That is o.k. but shouldn't mess with the stage equipment. Cherry Pie is Art work on stage to watch! I hope you will be coming back to Break Shots soon! Keep smili'n.Love you C.Pies." Glenda: "I first saw you guys at Rooters about two weeks ago. I had to see you again. My friend Tammy and I LOVE the show. It is great to hear the best music ever played so well. See ya at Rooters in Dec." |
