A Word from Josh:
With both Def Leppard and Bon Jovi playing in the area it might have made sense to take this night off. But our friends were not about to let us have a down night. The crowd was indeed a bit thin when the show started but filled in quickly and by the time some folks made their way over from the Def Leppard show we had a full house. It was a rockin' night full of many fun moments, but the moment that will linger the longest was downright absurd. Jeremy, a recent regular at many of our Milwaukee area shows, came up to me during the break and told me that his wife Cindi was along with him celebrating her birthday. He pointed her out and said that she'd love it if I were to go give her a hug and kiss. So I went over and did just that. And I was only off by one table. That's right, I kissed the wrong woman! I was quickly connected the "real" Cindi who, along with their friends, thought my faux pas was hilarious and soothed my embarrassment with some chocolate birthday cake (with frosting cherries on top). Fortunately, the woman who I had mistook for Cindi didn't seem to mind my unexpected display of affection. She indicated this a little later by returning the peck on the cheek and, most importantly, by not filing a lawsuit against me. Here name is Laura and it turns out that she was seeing Cherry Pie for the first time. I'm sure she wasn't expecting the band to be quite so friendly.     -Josh
