A Word from Josh: When you've been around as long as Cherry Pie has, we sometimes find ourselves revisiting venues from our distant past that had laid dormant for years before re-emerging under a new name. Such was the case tonight when we played at Rock Country. The last time we played in this room was back in 2002 when it was known as the Fantazia Nightclub. I was personally excited to be playing here, not only because it is pretty close to my home, but also because this current incarnation of the club seems to have a lot going for it and has featured many of the very top tier bands in the area since they opened their doors a few months ago. We're glad to be a part of that list. So, I can't deny that it was a bit of let-down that tonight's show drew less than a hundred people. Of course we did our best to put on a good show and indeed the intimate crowd did seem to enjoy it. One highlight came when Chris invited his former Oil Can Harry bandmate Kristin Jones up on to the stage where she sang the @#$% out of "Sweet Child O'Mine". We are very grateful to the people who came out for the show and we hope to rally more for a return trip to this very high-quality venue. -Josh Were you at this show?
