A Word from Josh: This was definitely one of our more successful trips to North Shore. The large and enthusiastic crowd included a group from the Baraboo Candy Company. They were kind enough to share with us quite a few samples of their fecal-themed products such as their "Horse Apples" and several different flavors of "Cow Pies". Yummmmmmy!! Also in attendance were Chris and Maria Ankele. Maria hired us to play at Chris's Air Force retirement party last March. She is also a professional massage therapist and brought her massage table to treat us with her talented fingers. Wow, between the massages and the candy, we could get use to this kind of rock star treatment. Another surprise tonight came from our former long-time bass player Shane Loy and his wife Sheila who dropped in before the show for some fun nostalgic banter. They stuck around for the first part of the show before they headed up the road to Portage to see our former long-time singer John Swenson who was performing with his band Kings of Radio at the Ball Room. I guess it was a somewhat disjointed Cherry Pie reunion of sorts. Thanks to everybody who contributed to making this a memorable night. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Marie: "Fantastic time!!" Damon: "Great show as always" |
