A Word from Josh: I have long had a unique affinity for Brat Fest. Today I showed up at the event at 9:00 in the morning and spent the entire day walking around taking in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this amazing phenomenon that is Brat Fest. I even have a bit of a sunburn to show for it. As usual I ran into many friends, saw a great many bands and ate a lot of food along the way. No wonder I like this gig so much. I enjoyed this epic day so much that the Cherry Pie set was almost an afterthought. Already scheduled to end earlier because of past security issues, our show got off to a late start because of technical problems. We finally got it going in front of a great crowd and then... it was over much too soon. Time flies when you're having fun, eh? Well, our part may be done but Brat Fest itself continues for the entire Memorial Day Weekend. I am planning to drop by on my way to Belmont on Sunday to catch our long-time singer Johnny Spandex in action with Kings of Radio when they open for Stryper on this very same stage.
