A Word from Josh: At appears that reports of the end of Winter have been greatly exaggerated. What a miserable day. Temperatures hanging in the upper 30s and a near constant drizzling rain. Yuck. We played in a tent set up on a football field. The grass outside the tent was completely saturated with water. Inside the tent was relatively dry and a handful of propane heaters took the edge off the overall chill of the night. Still, this did not feel like a Summer show. As showtime approached we worked to make sure our fingers and vocal chords were warm enough for the task at hand. We were already planning our weather-related excuses for why this would be a disappointing show with a sparse crowd. As it turns out we did not need any excuses because, much to our pleasant and somewhat bewildered surprise, a very strong crowd turned out and spurred us on to a very good show. We are so grateful to the mass of diehards who defied the weather and rocked out with us. We are in awe of your dedication. Included in the crowd were the Mantz Brothers, Jordan and Holdan, who will be performing on this same stage tomorrow night. They gave everyone a sneak preview by joining us on stage to sing "Wanted Dead or Alive". After the show reached its triumphant conclusion we packed everything up and withdrew back into the miserable night warmed by the memories made tonight. There are already plans for us to return to this event next year. We can only imagine what it might be like with good weather (fingers crossed). --Josh Were you at this show?
