A Word from Josh: This is a show that we had done once before and we were glad to be back. We knew it would be a lot of fun but that it also comes with its unique challenges. Namely, the show begins at 8:30 in the MORNING which required us to begin setting up for it before dawn. Also, it's an outdoor show in October so one would expect to be dealing with cold temperatures. Well, at least that didn't turn out to be an issue as we continue to enjoy unseasonably pleasant weather, although we did have to deal with some very breezy conditions. But the early hours might have explained the handful of uncharacteristically boneheaded mental mistakes made by each of us during the show. Of course, all of the unusual circumstances were worth it because playing for an official Badger football pregame event is a blast. Throughout the show the crowd grew and grew and grew until we were playing for a sea of Badger red. During our break the entertainment kept coming courtesy of the UW Marching Band and cheerleading squad. The festive atmosphere was infectious and didn't want to end, literally as our show ended to a strong chant of "One more song! One more song!" Quite unusual when you consider that these were people holding tickets for the football game that was scheduled to start in 15 minutes. In fact, the emcee for the event Van Edwards later told us that he had never before seen such a demand for an encore at Badgerville. Thank you Badgerville for another great time. -Josh PS: A few weeks ago we were in talks about playing a second show today. It didn't end up happening, but I wanted to mention it here because it would have been at a fundraising event that benefits local organizations that you might want to support whether we play at their event or not. Two of those organizations are Destiny Center which seeks to aid victims of human sex trafficking and A Pathway Home which supports people dealing with addiction, abuse, depression and incarceration.
