A Word from Josh: The Waukesha County Fair is always a blast for us to play. We get to play in the Coors Light tent immediately before and after the headlining show on the nearby Main Stage so we get a natural crowd coming to and from that show. Tonight's headliner was Bret Michaels so the Fair was absolutely crawling with our kind of peeps. One issue this year was weather. Rain fell to one degree or another pretty much all afternoon and evening including a pretty steady downpour during the entire Bret Michaels show. The Main Stage does not provide a cover for the audience which led Bret to cut his show short, just over an hour long. This meant we actually had to play significantly longer than originally planned, but our tent provided much coveted protection from the elements for the soaked Bret Michaels fans who came our way. Oddly enough, as bad as the weather was, it was not nearly as bad as last year when lightning and tornado warnings made an even bigger impact on the evening's proceedings. In the world of rock n'roll, sometimes you get a little wet. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
