A Word from Josh:
As you might expect, playing at any "Irish Pub" on St Patrick's Day is probably going to be a pretty big deal, especially when it falls on a Friday. This was our second consecutive St Patrick's Day at Mo's and it could not have been more packed (what's the official capacity of this place anyway?). Like last year, the live music and other festivities carried on all day and we had to load in our stage gear at the last minute before the show. Unlike last year, today's weather was cold and dreary with a high chance of rain. Fortunately, the rain held off during the time that our equipment was outside waiting for the the all-clear to bring it in. The show went quite well and we enjoyed playing for a full house in sharp contrast to the last time we visited Mo's back on December 16 during a snowstorm which kept people home in droves. Tonight I made the bold artistic decision to wear a large silly hat during the show which drew attention to the fact that today was my 50th Birthday. I got tons of happy birthday wishes including many from people older than me welcoming me to the 50+ Club. My wife was in attendance along with a great many friends who helped make my big FIVE-OH very memorable. Special thanks to Michele who made a cake for the occasion which several of us enjoyed after the show. In the world of Cherry Pie there is no rest for the aging as we head up to Baraboo tomorrow for another show. I wouldn't have it any other way.     --Josh
