A Word from Josh:
The shuffling of venues continues following the demise of the venerable Badger Bowl this past October. On the surface, the Bowl-A-Vard seems like a natural heir to the Badger Bowl tradition since it is a bowling alley on the outskirts of Madison with a huge parking lot. But, although we had played in that parking lot once in 2013 for a "bike nite", we really didn't know anything about the indoor facility. Well, it turns out to be pretty nice. The main bar connects to a second bar where the stage is located. When the big door is opened between the two you get a pretty awesome setting for live music. Who knew? Well, I suppose a lot of people knew because we drew an excellent crowd and had a spectacular show. It's always a great feeling when uncertainty transitions to excitement. For us the uncertainty of the Bowl-A-Vard has been wiped away and we very much look forward to our next visit.     -Josh
