A Word from Josh: This was our sixth show at AJ's, all in the past two years, making it one of our newer rooms. This was the second time that we played here as part of a birthday celebration for the bar's owner Adam Jankowski which meant, among other things, a lot of free food for everybody before the show and free rides home to the local customers after the show. These factors, along with our performance, combined to draw a pretty good crowd and many people had a great time including the birthday boy himself. I was treated to a pleasant surprise when my wife Tammy showed up midway through the first set. She hadn't been to a Pie show in two months and had not been planning to come out tonight but then she decided to surprise me at the last minute. Our good buddy Charles Thomas was back on lead vocals tonight making him the third different singer we've used in the past three shows. If variety is the spice of life, then we've been pretty spicy lately. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
