A Word from Josh:
This was our second time playing at the North Lake Veterinary Clinic summer party. Last year we played right on the blacktop of their parking lot; no stage, no tent. It was OK until the rain came and shut everything down. This year they asked us back and promised that they'd learned their lesson from last year. This time they set up a temporary stage in a good-sized tent on the large lawn between the parking lot and Highway VV. Of course, after making these preparations, the weather turned out to be ideal all night. Anyway, as with last year's event, our show was preceded by an entertaining demonstration of police dog techniques. There were also many pet dogs, a couple goats, birds and lizards on hand as well as many kid-oriented attractions. The show went well and people seemed to be having a good time. I'd have to admit that overall the atmosphere was a bit more low-key than most Cherry Pie shows, but that's not the fault of Clinic Director Dr Tom Gilligan who was in the middle of the crowd head-banging and rocking out like a pro for most of the night. We appreciate him bringing us back to be a part of this event.    -Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Rod VanNatta:
"This was the first Cherry Pie show that I have seen and it was absolutely awesome! My friends and I stood at the front of the stage most of the show and had a great time. The 80's music is in our sweet spot, and Cherry Pie did the 80's absolute justice. Rock On! Gonna look to find you guys again and will keep coming back!"
