A Word from Josh: Tonight was our 824th show as a band (799th as Cherry Pie). Of those 824 shows, 91 of them have taken place here at the Badger Bowl. That's more than 11% for those of you scoring at home. We've had many fun and exciting moments here at the ol'double'B' and they keep coming, even after all these years. Tonight was no exception as our Madison fan-base came out in fine form following the UW Men's basketball team's Tournament victory over Arizona to earn a spot in the Final Four. As if that festive spirit wasn't enough, the crowd also featured several birthday parties including a big one in the VIP area for Tess's big FIVE-OH! Speaking of old people, our former long-time bass player Shane was in attendance, visiting from his current home of Fountain of Youth, Minnesota, and drawing a crowd where ever he went. It's always great to see him. So, in summary, we had more than enough reasons to celebrate and have a great time on a Saturday night in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The place was packed, the show went well and we ate up every moment of it. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it... so we're doing our 92nd Badger Bowl show on May 2! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Lisa Knipfer: "It was an excellent show and I'm looking forward to the next show that I'm able to attend. Love all your songs and every member in the band does an awesome job!" |
