A Word from Josh:
It's Labor Day/Harley Davidson weekend and concert events are taking place all over the place from Wednesday until Monday. We're glad to be back as a part of the festivities at Wisconsin Harley Davidson just off of I-94 at the Oconomowoc exit. We played here last year on a Wednesday and this time we got the prime time slot on Saturday. Other bands were also playing today including our friends Rhythm Method who played before us and Bad Medicine who played at the same time as us on another stage. The weather forecast for today didn't look good. Rain showers hit the area in the morning and again soon after Rhythm Method finished their show and we were setting up our gear. The stage was only partially covered so operations halted until the rain passed. Meanwhile the crowd sought shelter in the nearby beer tents. Once the rain stopped it was a beautiful day from that point forward. Our show started late, but we were given permission to play our complete show all the way until 8 pm (the originally scheduled end time was 7 pm). Though damp and delayed, The Pie could not be stopped. We put on our typically kick-ass show for a typically kick-ass crowd, especially toward the end when the sun went down and things started getting typically kick-ass crazy. With this event winding down so early, we were able to go out and enjoy the rest of an exciting Saturday night. I ended up at Milwaukee Harley Davidson where Faster Pussycat was playing. All part of a very full day of rockin' fun.     --Josh
