A Word from Josh: It seems that every time we play Mo's, it's surrounded by more and more road construction. What's up with that? It's gotta get better at some point, right? Anyway, the multiple road closings didn't prevent a lot of people from coming to Mo's. The place was packed wall-to-wall from the moment I got there until they kicked people out at bar time. Speaking of bar time, it came early because of the end of daylight savings time. We weren't told of the change until we were on break, which forced us to shorten our second set on the fly. We dropped several songs and were not allowed to play an encore. So, that just meant that our rockin' good time was packed into a slightly smaller time frame. The packed house seemed to hang on every note and made a lot of noise all night. I feel that we gave them a pretty good performance which included the debut of several songs (as noted in the list above with asterisks) plus we brought back a couple songs like "Lovin' Every Minute of It" and "Wicked Sensation" that we hadn't played in years. For us, bringing in new material helps makes sure the show feels fresh. We're planning to debut even more new songs in an extra-fresh show at Rooters in two weeks. See you there!! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Taylor: "Two words. Wicked. Sensation." Ann: "Amazing show!!! I haven't had that much fun in a long time!! You guys truly ROCK!!" |
