A Word from Josh: I've been doing a lot of traveling this month so it was nice to have a gig tonight in my own neighborhood. BuBs has long been my "home bar," I even got married here, and its familiarity is always very comforting. It's also very comforting to see this large venue fill up with people out for a good time with Cherry Pie. Everybody is sick of Winter and eager to heat things up on the weekends, we are no exception. Adding fuel to the fire was the fact that our young production assistant Tennessee Love was celebrating his birthday tonight. Not that he even needs an excuse to party, but tonight he was off the hook with his social antics. The show went pretty well as we overcome some typical minor technical challenges along the way. BuBs definitely has one of our favorite stages to play on and it was easy to forget the gloomy weather outside for a few hours. From here we continue a busy schedule with many shows in the area featuring a variety of different set lists. And, Winter will end... eventually... we promise! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Erik: "Great show gents! My neck is still sore...but the RnR was worth it. See you next time!" Laurel: "Cherry Pie is awesome. It's always fun at their shows. This one was particularly interesting. The crowd was having too much fun. Some girls got onstage and danced with the band." |
