| A Word from Josh: This was billed as our "Bon Jovi Tribute Show" for the Fox Valley, having already played such shows in the Madison and Milwaukee areas. It really didn't turn out to be such a big deal, due in some part to threatening weather. An intimate crowd of about 100 people joined us in the back room at Timbuktu for a show that, from a technical standpoint, I think was one of our best in a long time. I suppose the third time is a charm as our set of Bon Jovi sounded better than ever. Still, it may have been a bit overkill as even the true Bon Jovi fans in the audience seemed to get tired of it before it was over. Late in the set John announced that the second set would contain no Bon Jovi and this news garnered a huge applause. If had to sum up tonight's show in one brief sentence it would be, "Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time." -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
