A Word from Josh: Plymouth is a small city on Hwy 23 between Sheboygan and Fond du Lac. I played here several times in the 90s with Jukebox Heroes and LP: The Band but have been back seldom since. So, it goes without saying that Antonio's is a new venue for us. It's a nice facility with a large front bar area and a separate room for the live music that feels more like a banquet hall. The big story of the night was that our bass-player Dann was unable to attend. Filling in on the low notes was Brooke St James, a fellow veteran rocker known regionally and nationally as an outstanding guitar player in many bands over the years. He did a great job on very short notice and even provided some very strong back-up vocals on such songs as "Renegade" and "Any Way You Want It." The show drew a very strong crowd that included some familiar faces coming in from Fond du Lac and Sheboygan as well as many Pie virgins catching their first glimpse of the band. It was a fun and successful night and we look forward to returning here sometime soon. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Bittersweeteus: "New venue for CherryPie but in a town they, and I, haven't been at for a few years. The venue was different, to where when you arrived, you're made to wait in the bar area until they open the door that leads you to where CherryPie entertains us. Once you're upstairs there was a nice dance floor, a bar along the side, and the stage had enough room for the band to spread out to show us all their own musical uniqueness, which combined, makes one awesome 80's classic rock band, CherryPie. As always, they put on one thunderous show, but, at times it did go off the path of rocking us, but it did eventually get back on the right path of rock. All in all, I did have a good time dancing to the music and watching these guys do their best of giving us one hell of a show!" Crazy Bon Jovi Fan: "I ve been to many Pie concerts and was not disappointed as usual they put on a kick ass show! I brought some Pie Virgins w me and they loved the show as well! Would have loved to hear more Bon Jovi but I understand the last minute line up change. I'll definitely be back for more!" |
