A Word from Josh: Another rainy day, sound familiar? But the large beer tent in Oregon ensured that the show would go on,... and go on it did, in a big way. Like last year, the entertainment got started with the band Kind of a Big Deal playing their fun brand of acoustic rock before us. As our show got started it was clear that the wet conditions were not keeping people at home. I think we had at least as many people rocking out with us as last year. And I'm pretty sure that this year's crowd was even crazier. In particular, there were several women up front most of the night who seemed to be celebrating the recent Supreme Court rulings with all sorts of dirty dancing and pouring themselves onto the front of the stage. We're lucky nobody got stepped on. It all added up to another fun night of Pie. 'Hope to see Oregon on our schedule again next year. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Rick: "Great show in O-Town!!! For Whom the Bell Tolls was killer!!!" Steve: "I am glad that I went to Oregon beer tent to see Cherry Pie play. Nice setup. Didn't have to walk that far to the beer tent and better yet- better beer -MILLER LITE1 LOL!" Kind of a Big Deal: "Thanks for letting us jam with you guys! Great time. See you around soon!" Lewis: "Was glad the thunderstorms stayed away, my son was really looking forward to seeing you guys play again, probably the only kid there but hey, like I, he thinks you guys do an awesome job covering a lot of great songs. Thanks for an awesome way to spend a Friday night!!!" |
