A Word from Josh:
Tonight the weather which had been nipping at our heels over the Memorial Day Weekend finally caught up with us. The threat of a thunderstorm bearing down on the Madison area from the west forced the show into the sheltered outer bar area which did not provide us the space for our usual vim and vigor. It also created acoustic issues. On stage it sounded like we were playing inside a tin can. Once the crowd packed in (and they DID pack in) we knew that very few people could actually see us. Still, we did the best we could under the circumstances and there was definitely fun to be had. The thunderstorm did finally arrive during our last set and the driving rain forced all the bay doors closed making the event even more intimate. The good news is that we get to do this again on July 24 when I'm sure the weather will be much better (crossing my fingers). In the meantime, Frankie and I will be playing just up the road at the Club Tavern this Friday (May 31) with a band we call Josh Becker Electric. Come check it out!     -Josh
