A Word from Josh: This was our first time playing at the Dan Jansen Family Fest but we have played at this park before a few times. So when the crowd began arriving we soon found ourselves among a lot of familiar faces, family and friends... AND their kids! Yes, Summer is here and our Summer Festival Season could not have gotten off to a better start. I was quickly reminded of how awesome it is to put our big show on a large outdoor stage. Everything looked great and sounded even better. The tent filled with people who seemed to appreciate every note right from the beginning of the show until the very end. John was on the top of his game interacting with the audience (and watching his language in the process). The air was fresh and sweet and a bit chilly as the night wore on. But warmth was plentiful and came from many sources; the lights, the alcohol, the shared body heat and the music. The crowd loved it when John invited 10-year-old Erin Adamec to help him sing "Don't Stop Believing." Tonight has us all believing that this is going to be a great Summer! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Kim: "Great concert!" Cindy: "You guys were great!" Brian: "Your band rocked also the 10 year old girl did an amazing job singing!" Bittersweeteus: "Here we are, the first outdoor show and it was a hard rocking, kick-ass show! The guys put on a performance that was high octane and outrageously energized. And John, who is one gorgeous frontman and full of vim and vigor, utilized the whole stage as he gave us a performance that can only be explained as, thunderous and hard core. This was one awesome partying night with the PIE and a great way to kick off the Memorial weekend!" Erin: "Thank you for letting me sing with you. You guys are the best!!!! hope to do it again some day!!!!!" |
