A Word from Josh: Mill Creek is a fun place to play. It's a smaller room and on a good night there is a line out the door of people waiting to get in. Tonight, with temperatures hovering just above zero, I didn't foresee anybody waiting outside. Indeed the room was not as packed as usual but it was a wild time nonetheless. Appleton is always good for an enthusiastic crowd that loves their 80s Rock. People came from as far away as Green Bay and Madison to rock with us, very cool. As usual, house-VJ Toe-Knee synchronized videos of the songs we were playing with our performance for much of the night and played many "forgotten treasures" of 80s rock when we weren't playing. At the end of the show, when we were regrouping for a possible encore, Toe-Knee hijacked the show and paid tribute to John's birthday with a video from John's favorite band Slayer. Very intense! Later Toe-Knee bought us pizzas (as is our tradition here) and we ventured into the snowy darkness knowing we had rocked it for another night. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jennifer: "awesum2 c u guys!!" Sara Bartelt: "We ventured from Stevens Point to see the show. You guys are absolutely amazing!!! I danced every single song eventually breaking my favorite black pair of boots..haha! Completely worth it. Til next time:) Sara "SJ" - Stevens Point." |
