A Word from Josh: Perhaps the night before Easter is not the best night to be gigging. In fact, in the minutes before showtime it was looking like we'd be playing to the smallest crowd we've had in years. But a few songs into the first set we found the crowd had grown to a level that was downright respectable. They were plenty loud too. Still, we approached the show with a casualness suited to a very intimate environment. That played out in a very fun way as several of our musician friends joined us on stage for various songs. It was an all-star jam that many will be sorry they missed. It was a fun night to be a part of the musical family of Wisconsin and that vibe carried on well after the evening's final notes. Happy Easter everybody! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Bittersweeteus: "So here we are, ending this sacred holiday weekend at Rooter's. Now this was one wild and eccentric evening. The songs were wild and the fans were eager to party with the PIE! CherryPie's performance was thunderous and rocked the roof off. And John, who possesses the most rocking attitude, really kept things going strong throughout the evening. Despite a few things during the night, I had somewhat of a good time and totally have to say, these CP guys always put on a rocking show and never fail us with their style and musical professionalism. They sure do know how to rock and know how to keep it hard and loud." #1 fan: "Love love love you guys! :) Enuff said." |
