A Word from Josh: The more things change, the more they stay the same. New year, new bass player, same results. Rooters filled up nicely on this cold January evening providing a warm setting for a great show, similar to so many others we've had here over the years. Dann did a great job in his first show as an official member of Cherry Pie and the crowd gave him an enthusiastic welcome. The Circle of Life was on full display as we mourned the recent passing of Dave's father while also celebrating milestones in the lives of our children. As always, there were several people at this show celebrating birthdays. Our good friend Courtney was on hand for her Bachelorette Party which looked like a lot of fun. Indeed, very little is certain in life and time waits for no one. Change was is the air on this night, but so was 80s Rock and that is something that will always kick ass! As long as you keep coming out to hear it, we'll keep playing it. This was an inspiring start to 2012 for us. It's looking to be another great year and, from the bottom of our hearts, we Thank You! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jerrilynn: "You guys rocked! Great crowd too wow.." Dawn: "great show guys Dave so sorry about your loss you are in our thoughts and prayers and we move on. Please take care of yourself there are angels among u." Rick: "Had a blast, thanks for putting on a great show!!!" Rebecca: "It was an awesome night! I think you guys should come up to Green Bay!" Debbie: "Thanks for a wonderful night, are prayers go out to Dave and his family." Courtney: "Best Bachelorette Party Ever!" Bittersweeteus: "Here it is, a new year! A year of changes and new challenges. CherryPie kicked off the new year with a new change, a new bass guitar player, Dann Walters. Whom, from what I experienced at Rooter's, it won't be long til he finds his niche in the band and will fit quite nicely in the realm of CherryPie. CherryPie put on one spectacular show as they entertained a welcoming crowd. CherryPie banged out those hard rocking tunes with stellar and grace. And John, well, all I can say about him, is that, he was true to form. This was an awesome way to spend a chilly evening and to begin the new year. It'll be interesting to see whatever new changes this 80's classic rock band will bring to the table. Also with great sincerity, I want to give Dave my condolences. May the fond memories of your Dad keep him alive in your heart." |
