A Word from Josh:
Mill Creek is a small bar in the middle of Appleton's vibrant downtown where college students and other young adults teem the streets late into the night. Such was the setting as we played to a packed house on a fun evening. Add to all this the fact that the Minnesota Vikings and many of their fans were staying at the Paper Valley Hotel just up the block in preparation for tomorrow night's big game at Lambeau. In fact, we saw more purple Vikings jerseys in our crowd than Packers which felt a little weird but hey, it just goes to show that 80s Rock is universal and can unite people of different stripes. There was some talk about some actual Vikings players dropping by at our show but I think Coach Childress would have something to say about that. He knows that a pro athlete needs plenty of sleep before getting his butt kicked. As is our tradition here, we played as bar DJ Toe-Knee synched our performances to the videos of each song (I'm still not sure how he does that) and our show was followed by some awesome pizza. Thanks for the great hospitality. We had a great time and we hope everybody else did too. BTW, I noticed that the property directly to the west of Mill Creek is now empty. Perhaps they could buy it, knock down a wall and double the size of the bar. 'Just sayin'.     -Josh
