A Word from Josh:
This show was coordinated with a big event in Middleton cleverly called Middleton's Big Event. The event tied together dozens of activities involving many Middleton businesses throughout the day and night. They offered a special deal where you could go around to several different venues featuring live music for just a one time cost of $5. Some of the other acts included Beth Kille, The Rowdy Prairie Dogs, Petty Things and the legendary Clyde Stubblefield. Cool Beans! Regardless, any indoor bar gig during the summer is prone to feel a bit flat, especially on such a beautiful day, and tonight was no exception. Over on my side of the stage I was dealing with a few minor technical issues, including bumping my head on a low-hanging moving light fixture several different times when I rotated my keyboards around. There were times during the show when I was downright disoriented. Many of you know that I've never done drugs, which is fine because I often get a similar effect on my own! Big thanks go out again to Dann Walters who was filling in on bass as Shane continues his secret spy mission to North Korea. Doh! I wasn't supposed to mention that. Bar manager Rick made a big announcement during the show, that Scatz is bringing in Loverboy on August 26 with Cherry Pie as the opening act. More Cool Beans!     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Stef:
"Had a great time at the show at Scatz on Saturday night. Missed Shane though but Dan rolled with it. Hope next time I see the band I get to hear a little Ratt. :) Will definitely be at the Loverboy show, I am a Canuck and they are way up there in my books."

Bittersweeteus:
"One thing about CherryPie's entertainment and performance, you definitely live it up! You never get enough of this awesome 80's rock coverband. Their performance was hot and there was no time to take a rest. And if you think I"m going to sit around while they are playing, "You've Got Another Thing Coming"! And John, who has an attractiveness that's addictive and let's nothing get in his way, stands tall and takes the band and the fans to infinity. As long as the music's loud and aim for the best, CherryPie will always be on top!"
