A Word from Josh: Wow, the weather outside was really beautiful tonight and so was the crowd at the Badger Bowl. The room was full of rock fans and excitement, punctuated by a certain high-profile Bachelorette Party (they even had cake, Yum). You know, there is something about your groom-to-be participating in the entertainment at your Bachelorette Party that is so wrong... and yet so RIGHT. Over the course of the evening we (ie, the band members who are not getting married this month) got to see a whole other personality side of this not-so-blushing bride. It was lots of fun! BTW, hosting the festivities was none other than Hair Goddess and all around cool chick, Jasmyn. This was the first time we've seen her since she participated in a recent humanitarian mission to earthquake-ravaged Haiti. She rocks in so many ways. Tonight was our last bar gig before the outdoor summer season and marked the end of our "10th Anniversary Tour." Wow, it's been a great stretch of shows going back to January, and tonight's debauchery was a suitable landing point. A hearty thank you to the thousands of people who have helped us celebrate the fact that we are older than dirt. See you out at the festivals. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Bittersweeteus: "Now this is the way to end the season of inside venues. CherryPie put on a show that was loud and hard! The song list was fantastic. Each set, especially the second, was filled with heart-pumping, adrenaline rushing songs! CherryPie's performance was roof-raising, busting at the seams, and it "Rocked us like a Hurricane"! And John, who's an all around entertainer and one gorgeous man, showed us all a great time with his high-spirited antics and made us all feel glad to be there and to be rocking out with this eccentric 80's rock coverband. I do have to say, John wanted to have this show go out with a bang, and I have to agree, it most definitely did! It'll be great to be outside again and see these guys in a new kind of enviroment. But no matter where they play, they are still the best rocking 80's coverband around!" Kendra: "You guys were awesome as always - thank you for making Tera's Birthday so rockin - We had so much fun!! See you again soon!" (Anonymous): "Awesome show guys! Totally enjoyed ourselves and am looking forward to the outside shows. Congrats to Shane & Shelia." |
