A Word from Josh:
The Brat Stop is such an awesome room. After years of occasional visits we're so glad to finally be a part of their regular rotation. The stage is great and the spacious balcony makes for some interesting vantage points. Plus, this is the one place where we still get to see our Illinois friends en masse, a fact that takes on a different tone during football season. Many who came to see us from south of the border where here mainly to see John who unfortunately was battling a bad cold all week. I know he wasn't feeling well but he still managed to put on a great show and hit most of his notes. In fact, I'd say that our show clicked pretty well overall. That positive vibe started early during an extended sound check when we played portions of a lot of different material we've been working on that you'll be hearing at upcoming shows. This "mini-rehearsal" sounded very encouraging and was a lot of fun. We really appreciated the bar's hospitality and the crowd was in the mood for what we had to offer. In all, a great night which leaves us eager to return in December.     --Josh

"Finally, a beautiful weekend! Sun shining, warm temps, and to top it off, a night with CherryPie. As I wait for the show to begin, I was able to hear CherryPie do a warm-up song and then lead into some new songs that they were practicing. I must say guys, you did an awesome job on them and am anticipating hearing them soon. After time has passed, CherryPie took the stage. One thing about these guys, they know how to utilize the whole stage and put on one entertaining show. And then there's John, who, wearing a shirt that accentuates his looks and pants that bring out the bad boy in him, used his boldness, feistiness, and alluring charisma to work the crowd. I had so much fun singing, dancing, and rocking to the music that CherryPie knows how to produce, that I literally lost my voice and was a little sore for the next few days. Now that's something to brag about, because what it all boils down to, is that, it was all well worth it!!"

"Good show guys. Even though one of the guys wasn't feeling the best. Liked the music in the practice session as well. Looking forward to seeing you play again...and some of those songs you were doing in practice."

pie fans:
"Love the bar! Hope John gets to feeling better real soon. Thanks guys for another fun show, and here's to more to come. Won't be at the next couple of shows, but will see you again real soon...... Keep on Rocking, and John, get well and back to your fun-loving, entertaing self. Until the next time.........."
