A Word from Josh:
Cherry Pie at the Wisconsin State Fair 2009: Chapter Two. I guess tonight was a lot like our show here last Saturday, although tonight's weather wasn't quite as hot. Also, John made sure that tonight's setlist was drastically different from last week's because we knew we'd see a lot of the same faces in the crowd. And what a crowd it was, singing along very loudly, including when we least expected it. The only time they were quiet was when John asked for a moment of silence in memory of Waukesha native Les Paul who died on Thursday. This was gig number two with my new keyboard stand and it still KICKS ASS! But I must apologize for getting a bit too silly with it and messing up badly on the end of "Separate Ways." Sorry about that, that song deserves better. The State Fair is a great opportunity for us to see friends of ours in other bands doing their thing. This year those including Rhythm Method, Bad Medicine, The Now, Bobby Friss, Oil Can Harry, The Boogiemen, The Pink Flamingoes, The Sociables, Random X, Road Rage and Pat McCurdy. It has been a very entertaining week. It's been great being a part of the State Fair tradition for the last few years and we hope it lasts for several more years to come.     --Josh

"You guys always rock, and don't get me wrong I like the Budweiser but man, it's hard to hear you at times. That system does not do you boyz justice! Seems it's better hearing you in the clubs!! =)"

Jennie:
"Awesome summer nite! Great to see all my Pie friends and beyond! Looking forward to the fall schedule."

Sam:
"As always you guys were awesome! Thanks for playing my song and saying happy bday. You guys are the best! Hope to see you soon :)"

Joe C:
"Very nice sets! Not so many "slow" songs. Keep it up!"

OMG!:
"Totally mind-blowing show. You guys were on fire-especially John. Love the revolving keyboard. This had to be one of the best shows I have seen. You guys totally rock!"

Bittersweeteus:
"Here we go again! Another fantastic night at the WI State Fair. Even though the atmosphere seemed a little different than last Saturday night, the CP guys entertained each and everyone of us with pizazz and strong energy. And John, who was full of moxie and electrifying energy, showed us all a great time through his antics and fun-loving high-spiritedness. I had a great time partying with CherryPie and seeing friends that I haven't seen for awhile. Plus, I even brought a co-worker with to show what CherryPie is all about and they really enjoyed the show. You guys put on a great show as always!"

Hooked fan:
"Loved the show. Thanks Shane for the licking and sticking-you know what I mean-thanks for the pick. Can't wait until the next time."
