Sing-along

This was our first time to Mishicot and we found it to be a very charming little town of about 1500 that throws a heck of summer festival that draws crowds from several surrounding communities including Manitowoc and Two Rivers. We played on a very nice stage in a huge beer tent placed in right field of a baseball diamond. A lot of people saw us over the course of the evening and, although we were well-received, the crowd overall was not as wild usual. Some I spoke to said that people just tend to be a bit more fickle in that part of the state. One of the more enthusiastic people in the crowd was an old school-buddy/bandmate of Frankie's John who was visiting from Oklahoma with his wife Amy and seeing the band for the first time. Afterward he told us that we inspired him to perform again. So if there are any bands in Oklahoma in need of a long-haired singer/guitarist, I think we've got what you're looking for. Anyway, the show went pretty well and we gained momentum slowly but surely down the stretch. But a misunderstanding over the time of the local loud music curfew caused our performance to end somewhat abruptly which left hundreds screaming in vain for an encore that was not to come. Perhaps we can make up for it next year. --Josh

"This was the first time I saw cherry pie! I thought it was gonna be some cheesy 80's cover band but it wasnt!!! You blew the crowd away, the singer hit some really high notes and shot confetti, the drummer did crazy stick twirling and crossovers on the really high cymbals and put water on them haha, the keyboard/guitar player was fun to watch his facial expressions, the bass player sang really good and had cool hair, and the guitar player looked like mick mars from motley crue and shredded and sounded awesome with that guitar... just amazing!! I might go and see you guys in 2 weeks on friday night at the greenville. AWESOME!!!!!!!"

"I thought the show was great, the crowd was smaller than i expected but my buddies and myself had a great time regardless. I saw these guys years ago and they still ROCK. I was waiting for Uncle Tom's cabin that i saw them perform in sheboygan years ago. But i guess they dont sing that one anymore. Overall a great band that i will go see again."

"It was a long trip to get to Mishicot, but it was interesting exploring new territory. Once I reached my destination, I found myself at a festival that had a few activities and located in the center of it all was a large tent. Beneath this tent, was a stage prepared for the arrival of a great 80's coverband, CherryPie. CherryPie took the stage and opened up with a great song and more well chosen ones followed. The crowd grew but was reserved. But it didn't stop CherryPie from rocking hard. And John, wearing an awesome shirt in the first set and an attitude ridden one in the next, was intriguing and showed his aggressive attitude that can't be beaten down. It was well worth the trip to see these CP guys. All I know, these guys are always worth seeing and the way I'm greatly impressed at each show more and more, I "can't keep away". I also want to wish you guys the best of luck at your show this upcoming weekend. I also hope and pray that your round trip is safe, and at the same time, be adventerous and fun!!"
