A Word from Josh:
This was a great way to come out of hibernation. It had been four weeks since our last show and we were eager to get back on stage. The Verona Hometown Festival, on a perfect summer night, provided a great crowd to welcome us back. Our time off led to some rusty performances and we experienced some technical problems during the first set, but these people didn't care. Their enthusiasm for the music was infectious and we couldn't help but have a great time. Once the second set got going we felt on top of the world. And why not? Our show was hitting its stride in front of thousands of rock n'roll maniacs. I can not imagine a better way to start our Summer season. John was on top of his game, making a lot of witty banter and keeping the confetti and beach balls flying. All this despite suffering a nasty gash on the top of his head earlier in the day during set-up. There was quite a bit of blood, he looked like a professional wrestler. It is nice to know that I'm not the only klutz in the band. Overall, the night was a huge success and we had a blast. It has us really pumped for the rest of the Summer. It also has us looking forward to returning to Verona next year.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

teresa rees:
"wow!! always had a great time at the show in verona!! see you saturday night at schatz!!!"

Kimmie:
"Thanks for an AWESOME show! I can't wait to see you again and get my ROCK ON!    ~Kimmie (friend of Kristen, Dana & Misty)"

Bittersweeteus:
"It's definitely true, that when CherryPie comes back from a brief time off, they are strong, electrifying, and unstoppable. Their performance was out of this world and it never touched ground until they were done. And John, who's a phenominal frontman and has the drive and perseverance to accomplish what he sets out to succeed in, kept everyone rocking hard up to and including the last encore song. I sure did miss you guys and it was great to be back in the presence of an awesome 80's rock coverband. I know summer hasn't officially started yet, but it has already started for me. With the comeback of CherryPie and seeing the Blue Angels a few weeks ago, if this is a prelude to summer, I can't wait to see what it actually has in store for me."

Ron:
"You guys rocked! Even the smell of "BO" couldn't stop the rockin. Please people shower before you go in public."

unkown:
"That's for the great show, although it was crowded! Love the confetti and the mess someone makes-wouldn't want to clean that up! See ya all ral soon!"
