A Word from Josh:
This was our fifth Rooterpalooza and we couldn't be happier about it. There's such a festive atmosphere when we get together for a show with our friends in Photograph for a double-bill like this, and all for a good cause. Photograph played first, starting with their famous Def Leppard set and then playing another set of other cover material. I especially liked their Ronnie James Dio medley. Then, right in the heart of the night we switched the stage over to the Cherry Pie gear, a process that took about 40 minutes and was not nearly as chaotic as it might have seemed from an outsider's point of view. As is our wont for these types of shows, we opted to play one long set instead of two shorter ones. The crowd was electric and got us into a great groove right away. This really helped spur on Dave and myself to put on a good show, despite both of us being hobbled by leg injuries. But that doesn't matter much when you let John, Shane and Frankie out of their cages. They're gonna rock your world every time.    --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Kelly:
"As usual you guys were AWESOME !! You guys are SO great, I can't stand it !! :) I wish you guys would play more in the Waukesha area. Frankie & Shane, thanks for the photos. :) I'm sure that you guys hear this all the time, but there are not words that can explain how good you are !! If I could see every show I would. Frankie is an AMAZING drummer ! Man, if I were single..LOL :) Keep it up and can't wait to see you at State Fair !!"

Long time fan:
"Great time!!! Great cause! . =) You guys rock!"

Jenni:
"Luv the drummer."

Fan:
"Frankie needs to smile more :) like the rest of the guys. I know he's major rocker BUT he has a great smile. XO"

Debbie & Gary:
"What a night. Awsome all the way around. Two outstanding bands that play their hearts out. You counld't have had a better time than this. This is what you call "Nothing But A Good Time" All the guys in both bands were superior in the ways they played, sang, interacted with the fans, and just down right out rocked all night long. We give this show A++++++++++++++++++++. The best show we have been to in a long time. Don't get me wrong. All of Cherry Pie shows and Photograph shows are wonderful, but this one takes the cake. XOXOXOXO's to all you guys. Have a wonderful weekend. See ya soon."

Bittersweeteus:
"You CP guys have finally reached that long awaited rest stop that's located off that long distant highway of rock'n'roll. You pull over, get out of that hot roaring machine and brush off the dust of the many venues where you've rocked many of fan. As you finally sit down, kick off your shoes, you remember all the places you've been and all the faces you've seen. But all that's important right now is to recharge, refuel, and try to recapture all the things that you've missed out on along the way. You CP guys well deserve this time off and I hope you get to do those things that make you happy and enjoy yourselves during this long awaited break. I will miss you guys but at the same time, I know once that you're back on that road again in that rock'n'roll classic machine, you'll be strong, energized, and ready to rock us like you've never done before!!"
