A Word from Josh:
Two of the more unique and special aspects of playing at Mill Creek involve setting up before the show and tearing down afterwards. During set up we are treated to non-stop 80s rock videos, and not just the usual top hits either. It's always a nostalgic trip down memory lane with plenty of songs that we like but haven't heard in a long time. Sometimes we even play a game to see who can be the first to name the more obscure artists. After the shows at Mill Creek we enjoy a tradition of awesome pizza. The shows themselves tend to be rather intense. Mill Creek is a small bar and that makes for a crowded room with a line out the door of people waiting to get in. The tight quarters are also conducive to high decibels levels and temperatures. I, for one, am very glad that it's a smoke-free environment because having to deal with cigarettes here would be just a bit too much. Tonight was a pretty typical Mill Creek show in that it was pretty damn awesome. We saw some old friends and met a lot of awesome people. We hope to see many of them again in the next two weeks for our shows in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Christie:
"This was my first Cherry Pie show. My schedule had conflicted in the past from going. I was told that it would be a night of pure decadence and that Cherry pie was THE quintessential 80's rock band. I arrived a bit late and despite having to wait over an hour to get in, I have to say this was the best show hands down that I have seen in some time. You guys performed the songs in most cases better than the original artists. I can't wait for the next! Thank you again for an awesome night and browing the roof off Mill Creek!"

Barb:
"Well, like usual, you guys really rocked the house!!! Keep up the good work:) It was nice to finally get to meet you all personally, but my apologies to Trash...didn't mean to freak you out(but, honestly, I really don't bite!)"

Kip Sellout:
"I seriously hope you guys find somewhere else to play in the valley. It took one of my friends close to 90 minutes to get in while another split because of the ridiculous wait. It's good to know I can invite friends out to the Oshkosh store and we'll all actually get to see you play. I hope this doesn't come off as a rant...just a concerned fan. I love you guys enough to have my female friends round up bras and thongs to toss, you know I'm not bitchin'. Just extremely disappointed that the guy who runs Mill Creek hasn't moved you to Tanner's which could've accomodated everyone (with room to shake asses and throw more bras and thongs). See you guys in Oshkosh!!"

Peter:
"I moved to WI last year and Cherry Pie is the best cover band i've seen so far. You dont hear to many good lead singers anymore like this guy. Me and my wife will be at the Kakauna show for sure. Rock n roll me Jackyl me off"
