A Word from Josh:
This was reminiscent of our last trip to the Dry Bean, mainly in how we had to trudge through a lot of fresh snow to get to the front door. We appreciate all of the other fine folks who themselves braved the elements to enjoy an evening of PIE. The supportive crowd was exactly what we needed as we dealt with several minor technical problems early on. Personally, my biggest issue came during the opening medley when I dropped my guitar pick at the worst possible moment. Instead of blazing away on the main riff to "Master of Puppets" I ended up sounding more like a retarded monkey. Fortunately, when not everything is going right, we can always rely on John to stand strong and entertain at the top of his game. Gradually the dance floor filled up and, by the second set, I think we were firing on all cylinders. Madison has long been reliable for a great time every time we play there and tonight was no exception. As such, we are that much more determined to give these fans everything we can, including an occasional retarded monkey.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"It's something that on a cold dreary night, CherryPie was able to turn it into a warm summer's eve. They played those instruments so professionally, that it radiated strong burning vibes into the crowd which brought out the liveliness of the fans. And John, with his charisma and fun-loving antics, caused a incandescence throughout the bar. The show was great and it helped to forget the weather outside."

Duane:
"I realy dig you guys!! I try to see you play when you come to Madison, because I'm from Monroe, WI. You all are an inspiration because you don't only play the rock I grew up with (age 33), but I also dabble with guitar myself. Thanks for all the great shows, see ya soon! ROCK ON! Duane"

Misty:
"Thanks for making the treacherous drive out to see you SO worth it! Love you guys and missed your entertainment! So glad to see everyone back on stage ROCKING the crowd as only the PIE knows how. Keep up the good work on the original material as well!"
