A Word from Josh:
Most of the 500-plus people who came to BuBs on this night know what a special night it was for me personally. Tammy and I were very glad to share our moment with so many of our friends and we are grateful for all of the support and love that subsequently came our way from so many people. It was a night that we will certainly never forget. But I don't want to allow this sentimentality to cloud the fact that the PIE put on a kick-ass show. BuBs is one of only a small handful of places we play that can fully accommodate our full staging system. We began the first song knowing that we sounded great and looked great. I assure you that is an absolutely wonderful feeling and I think it showed in our performance and in the crowd response. There were a whole lot of awesome vibes going in every direction. Even when we hit a few sour notes, and I definitely screwed up plenty, it was OK because we were among friends. One of our friends came up and sang "I Hate Myself for Loving You" with us. A couple more joined us on stage for some swing-dancing during "Rebel Yell". Unfortunately, some other women were inspired to copy-cat and ended up spilling a half pitcher of beer all over the stage. Luckily, we were not electrocuted, so all's well that ends well I suppose. I think this show had a little bit of everything and was as close as we can come to being all things to all people. To me, it was simply one of the best nights of my life.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:

Melisa:
"Congrats! It was a great night!"

Jennie:
"I agree Josh, it was an awesome show. I was glad we were there to share that moment with you and Tammy. Love the new song choices, mixes it up a bit. John soared thru the nite avoiding the spilled beer and breaking up fights. Never missed a word, you rock! Great solo Frankie, need more of those. Shane's smile lights up the room. See you at Rooters."

Donavan & Becky:
"Hi Guys! First off, it was great seeing you guys again. I am very sorry being away for so long, but it was great to see you all of you again and hopefully (if my work permits it) we will see plenty more of you guys. Second, Josh, congratulations on your engagment, and wish you and your fiance the best in your future together. Lastly, it was cool to see John break up that fight. Never mess with John, right? Anyway, great show, and we will see you all again soon! Up The Irons!!!"

chad:
"great show guys, sorry my girls up front caused the drunk guys to move in and start a fight. it was our friend who got knocked down. thanks john for stepping in and not missing a beat of the song. we took care of the idiot outside for hitting one of our girls,(real tough guy).he'll remember that night!!!"

Bittersweeteus:
"The night started out with a bang with the prelude song and then right into the awesome performance of CherryPie. And John, who has the right moves, fantastic voice, the greatest smile, and looks great no matter what, gave one memorable performance. The night will be one I will remember despite some interruptions. And just one more thing, I want to wish John one Happy Birthday and may all your wishes come true!! You know John, you're like a great brandy, you definitely get better with age!!!"

Dana:
"Hi Guys! Sorry I couldn't be there this time but I'm sure you guys rocked as always! Congrats Josh on finally popping the question, Sorry I missed it! Let me know when the big day is!! Can't wait to see you again maybe at Rooters! Till then Rock On!"

Kevin:
"Congrats on the Engagement Josh and Tammy. When all else fails, keep it hard, and keep it fast!!!"

Tammy ( AKA : TT ):
"A night to be remembered by all....John's "ENORMOUS PIPES" came into play tonight - like a dart he flew in a scurry from the stage to break up fight and NEVER stopped singing - and you saved me from getting mushed... Thank you - and BIG Happy Birthday to you John ... I miss my birthday calling on stage .....sorry.... Of course off int he back talking away.. - what else is new? Thank you guys - your the best !!!
And to my dear friends Josh and Tam - what special moment to have shared with you - what a great way to start out the New Year... Love you guys.... congratulaitons again on your engagement!!
And of course... one hell of Rockin show ... WOOO HOOO!!!!!!"

Fan:
"Yes Congrats to the happy couple!! Was great to witness. Must say John jumpin in that fight.. I think I got a little excited. ! Keep Rockin"

Greg Godina:
"This show was a very memorable one indeed. Josh proposed to the love of his life, the beautiful Tammy. Also, a fight breaks out, to which John breaks up, while he's still singing! Although Josh's marriage proposal is not the first one at a Cherry Pie show(Greg/Jeanine,Kevin/Jen), I'm sure ours will not be the last. What a better way than to propose than at a CP show!!!!"
