A Word from Josh:
Times Square has Dick Clark and Rooters has The PIE. Such has become the tradition in Waukesha on New Year's Eve over the last three years. And while Times Square has their big ball, there were no balls bigger than on stage at Rooters Monday night when we welcomed in 2008 with hundreds of our closest friends. This was the fourth time overall that we have had the honor of playing this event at Rooters and I think we can all agree, without a doubt, that this was the best one ever; or as Homer Simpson would say, "The best ever... so far." Most of the formalities were the same as years past... we all wore silly hats, shared a champagne toast, enjoyed the buffet and made a friggin' mess! But the vibe was unbelievable from the opening notes. It helped that we were finally back on a stage big enough to accommodate our cool elevated platforms since they made their debut back on November 17th. Yeah, standing up on those things in our leather and hairspray, we looked COOL. The huge crowd responded with some of the loudest ovations we've heard in quite a while. That kind of support feels great. So far, 2008 sure is awesome!     --Josh

"What can I say . Another New Years with the Pie! Rocked. Can't believe how long you guys played! Crazy talk. Thanks for another fun year! Look forward to 2008"

B & C:
"Best New Years in a LONG TIME - we rocked out from start to finish (I think I remember the finish) - worth the drive up (and the LONG TIRED drive back) from Chicago! It was cool of you guys to plant a guy there with a Bears jersey too!"

Misty:
"Celebrate 2008!!! I wanted to thank you for yet another Happy New Year Party! First show my ol' man came out to see... He said it was great, next time he'll have to have earplugs though, HA! Lots of love to the guys of Cherry pie from the Lodi Girls!!!"

Bittersweeteus:
"What a way to send off the old year, good cheer, great conversation, and fun with great friends. To add to all this celebration is the awesome cover band, CherryPie. They put on two fantastic shows, Dry Bean and Rooter's, that kicked off the coming new year. Each show was unique in it's own way and even though they were, the CP guys put on performances that were way above impeccable. And John, who at both shows, was able to keep the fans fired up with the way he knows how to use his charisma and high-spiritedness. Both shows were unforgettable but the thing that stands out the most to me, is the outfit John wore for the first set at Rooter's. That black shirt and black leather pants sure did show off his smokin hot body and gorgeous looks. Sexy if you ask me!! I hope everyone has a fantastic New Year and is able to jump those hurdles that stand in your way of happiness."

Like a ninja...:
"what would happen if the laces on john's pant were, say possibly, snipped? be careful john, you don't know who or when.... ;)"

Tammy ( AKA : TT ):
"This my 3rd year in a row seeing Cherry Pie @ Rooters.....I have to say "nice job" on Rooters part with party favors, and the buffet ( NO MORE FIGHTS ) and (Mr. Bill - Rooters very own ) for setting up the hotel and shuttle service.. this ROCKS... I highly recommend this to anyone. The BEST crowd EVER in attendance- the place was packed, great job boys. Nice to see LOTS AND LOTS of your very "loyal fans" in attendance. Midnight again, you came through with pounds and pounds of confetti that fill my purse and well fell other in other private places... that we won't mention... LOL. From everyone we " thank you " John for your awesome personality and getting the crowd so involved at the stroke of Midnight .. Happy New Year 2008 and see you for my birthday celebration @ Bubbs - Jan 26th..."
