A Word from Josh: There's really no other place that feels like home to the PIE quite like Rooters. This unique venue has been the site of many of our favorite moments. The tradition continued tonight with a fun show in front of a great crowd. Hundreds of people sought shelter from the unseasonably pleasant weather by joining us for some good old-fashioned wine, women and song. John quickly discovered that it's easy to make friends when you're giving away free Green Bay Packer T-shirts. Additional research has discovered that it's also easy to make friends when you put on leather pants and play the hottest big hair rock hits of all time. Who knew? Well, with all these friends, it seems that at least one of them is celebrating their birthday at every show. Tonight it was our good friend Jen, yes the same Jen who made headlines at our show on March 17. Despite her rapidly advancing age, she looked like she was having as much fun as ever. It certainly appeared that she wasn't the only one. Well, that excitement is going to have to last us a while. We won't be playing this area again until November. I hope you'll all remember us. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jen: "Thanks for helping celebrate my bday guys!! Luv ya!! XOXO" Ms. Rockstar: "You're the best!! xoxo" Deana: "Saturday was PURE ENJOYMENT!!! What an AMAZING SHOW!!! So worth the 2+ hour drive! Please, oh please come to Chicago SOON!!!!!" Stacee: "You guys ROCKED it!!! The licorice ropes were a nice twist! I'm curious as to how the wrestling belt came to play or did I miss something?? Can't wait for another Cherry Pie night!" Lucy: "Just great as always! Great set list too! You guys are just too hot!" Jeanine: "HiGuys! Greg and I had a wonderful time as usual! You guys are the "BEST" ever!! The licorice twists were different but GOOD!" Motus: "Nothing like a nice slice of pie at Rooters. The drinks were flowing and the rock was kickin! We had another nice treat and that was when Josh joined us for breakfast at Dennys after the show!" Bittersweeteus: "When you mix CherryPie, friends, and Rooter's, you know you're in for one freaking, partying night! The way CherryPie plays, they bring everyone to life and it's one thunderous experience. And John, who has the strength and stamina of a Packers football player and the best fun-loving spirit, kept everyone intrigued til the end. I had one hard rockin night and I always come to the same conclusion at every show, and that is, "All I Want" is rock'n'roll!!! And by the way, A-shirt, those jeans, John in them, yeah, hot and sexy! Definitely!!!" |
