A Word from Frankie: hELLS yEAH is all I have 2 say! tONIGHT was our first show back in the bars, and IT was freakin’ R O C K I N ‘!!! IT started with the brand new stage that BuBs had built. While it wasn’t as long as it used to be, it was nice and deep. (The ladies are probably liking that! :) None the less, it’s AWE-some! IT’S BIG! And yes sIZE does matter! It was so deep, the stage that is, that I didn’t have to set my drum riser against the back wall, which made room for John, Shane, and the other two caricatures to run, play, and do god knows what behind me. I did feel a little violated, but in a good way. There were a few bIRF-days that were being celebrated. The lovely JEWELS was playing a game called, "get drunk" while celebrating her 29th year in existence. You’re welcome! AND lets not forget to mention the hard working camera man, Mr. GREG GODINA, who is a true PIEHEAD and is at damn near every show! Happy BIRF-day Bitche$! I must mention the drunk girl, (nO nOT Jewels,) that made her way on to the stage early in the night... I think it was during SLIDE IT IN?!?!? (That’s my favorite game 2 play.) NE ways, she did some Tawny Kitaen stage crawling, simulated pole dancing, and I think a few guys in the band got eye f*#ked! I know I did! It was VERY cool, but after a bit it was time for her to get another beer, so security made sure she did that by helping her off the stage! :) We had the lovely MISTY come up and sing here little heart out on HATE MYSELF. Fantastic job sweetie! Here’s a big shout out to the LODI three that are always in house! yEAyaH! AND As always there was tons of head banging, stick twirling, jumping around, and let’s see... what am I forgetting?!?!? If you’re reading this you were probably there... AM I missing any highlights?! I guess we’ll find out in the comment box. :) There’s currently a ton of new songs in rotation, and they seem to be getting great response, so here’s the deal. Let us know which ones you’re really digging on! On that note, let us know what songs you’d like to see brought back from the RIP list. Here I’ll start... Smooth Up In YA! YEAH! OK... Back to the show... For our first night back in the bar, it had everything I could ask for in a bar. It was smokey, loud, there were sexy ladies as far as the eye could see, urinal cakes, all that crap, and the BEER was a flowing! So we’ll see y’all next week at Badger Bowl! --This is the TRASH securing. Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Melisa: "Superb show gentlemen! The new tunes are great!" Misty: "We LODI girls gladly travel far and wide for a PIE show! BuBs is one of the greatest indoor venues and this was no exception. The Jack and Diet and Harp's was flowin', our asses were shakin' and that sugar we were lickin'... Thanks for yet another memorable evening of friends, music, and sleep deprivation. Well worth it!" Bittersweeteus: "Alrighty then, let's see if I can sum this show up in a few mere words. Yes, the beer was flowing and that has a tendancy to bring out the uncouthness of some patrons. The band adds to this with some of the guys own antics, but performance was excellant. And John, who knows how to bring out his own way of entertainment, knows how to keep the women close to him and at the same time, rocked the house. Show was good for being the first one inside. It was flying high and free and that's the way it should be. Cause, it's kinda hard to fly free when you're tied to something." Dana: "Great show guys, you totally rocked the joint as always! Happy B-Day Greg & Jewels!! As far as bringing back songs from the RIP list goes you can bring back and and all of the Kiss songs and add a few Alice Cooper ones on and a few Joan Jett!! Rock on guys !" pieeyed: "How about bringing back Wicked Sensation!!!! Some Queensryche would be cool too!" Hoss: "Well, im not sure what to say. I loved the ladder at the end of the show, nothing like a screaming guitar ontop of a ladder. The show was great, we all had fun. I saw some old friends, brought along some new ones, overall it was a great night. Wish I could make it to the Badger Bowl show but I have to work, anyway I will be at rooters, and ready to ROCK." Jewelz: "From the Drunk Girl...Thanx everyone who came out to help me celebrate....Oh yah & I won the Drunk Game ;) And to the Boys...as always thanx for playing my song - your still #1 - Love Ya" |
