A Word from Josh: This was our fourth straight year performing at this festival, but it was the first time that we played here on a Saturday. The big difference being the awesome fireworks display that took place during our break. We followed that up with some excitement of our own as our lengthy second set rocked the beer tent to the ground (metaphorically speaking). Indeed, this gig has gotten better every year, and that's saying something. The hospitality was awesome also as we were treated to some awesome pizza and a bushel of corn. Although we have four more shows to play in the next seven days, we certainly were not conserving our energy. No, we're not that smart. Hopefully the Grafton Jaycees will keep asking us back to this festival and we'll keep coming. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jeanie: "thanks for the great show it really rocked my husband really enjoyed the show as well thanks love the shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ben Jammin: "Good show. I gotta get a t-shirt next time." Linda: "Great Show-Cherry Pie NEVER disappoints!! See you at Wed nite Live!" Bittersweeteus: "Isn't it something how life faces you with challenges where some you can overcome and others you can't and it temporarily steers you in another direction, but eventually, you come back to your original path. This is sort of the way it is when you start getting into the music of CherryPie and then your attention is drawn to a display of fireworks. But when the fireworks are done, we're all able to get back on track and continue on a rock'n'roll odyssey. John, who is in charge of this journey and has a aggressive demeanor that can't be challenged, leads everyone to the end with great smoothness. It was quite a interesting night, but it also was impressive." Trish: "You guys are the best!! This is the first show I made it to in a while, and it was well worth the wait!! P.S. Sorry to the guy that I kept spilling beer on :)" Missy: "OMG you guys ROCKED!!!!!! WOW! I was a Cherry Pie virgin until then! I will SO be back! Great song choices, great vocals, & one big party under a tent! Thank you to Shane and Frankie for being SO personable! Great guys! We had a blast!" Heather: "You guys flippin rawked my face off! Shane and Frankie you two are the best! Thanks for the t-shirt and drum stick! Missy & I were Cherry Pie virgins, but you can bet you'll see us again..." Donavan & Becky: "Two weeks in a row, and you guys still rock! Great show as always! We look forward to seeing you guys in Kholsville next week! Rock on!!!!!!!!!" |
