A Word from Josh: It looks like we picked the right night to play a Summer show indoors as a strong storm soaked the area early in the evening. The foul weather probably actually helped us draw a pretty strong crowd. Austin's is such a grand venue and filling the dance floor here really gets us going. Those in attendance witnessed the debut of five songs, all of which were well-received, but none more than the maudlin classic "Every Rose Has It's Thorn." I guess our show ran a bit long because house lights starting coming on as soon as we finished our last note. But then an overpowering chant of "One more song" brought us back for an encore which appropriately enough seemed to describe the weather outside. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Dave: "Foreplay/Long Time by Boston? EXCELLENT! You should bring back Smokin' ~ another EXCELLENT song." Bittersweeteus: "One great thing about going to see CherryPie, is the way you feel when the show ends. The guys leave you feeling exuberated after a night of watching them put on an awesome show that professionally merges their musical and vocal talents. And John, who is very passionate about his strive to persevere in accomplishing what he sets his mind to throughout the show, always makes sure everyone has a good time. With addition of a few new songs, like, Every Rose has it's Thorns and Bad Medicine, it turned out to be one fantastic and impressive show." |
