A Word from Josh:
Happy New Year's Eve... uh,... Eve! Actually, playing on the night before the biggest party of the year had me worried about a below-average turnout. But our strong Madison following did not let us down as we enjoyed a typically strong Dry Bean show. Some of the crowd was a bit late in arriving but by the end of the first set the place was pretty packed and we were enjoying every minute of it. As usual, there was a healthy mix of familiar faces and newbies. Overall, the show went well and I think we made a pretty good impression. We can't help but feel optimistic about another great year playing in Madison in 2007. The only downer of the night was learning that the New York Giants had won their game against the Washington Redskins, thus making it nearly impossible for the Green Bay Packers to make the playoffs. Nonetheless, special arrangements have been made for Rooters to open early before tomorrow's New Year's Eve show so that everybody can watch the Packers play the Bears at the bar. That's where you'll find us before we do the leather and hairspray. 'Hope to see you there.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Josh:
"The show rocked. My buddy and I saw Cherry Pie for the first time and we kept asking ourselves how can these guys not be famous they sound just as good if not better than the best bands around? It was awesome there wasn't a single mistake, missed note, missed beat. IT ROCKED!"

Jason:
"Why no hot for teacher or Tom Sawyer what gives???? and when is Rico comming back??"

Josh:
"It's not what ya got, its what ya give! You guys rocked the Bean. Probably the best CP show I've seen yet! Kick ass fellas!"

Bittersweeteus:
"What a great way to kickstart the most celebrated holiday of the year! CherryPie blew the roof by performing those 80's rock songs with such intensity, it was as though they were taking us on a journey back into time. And John, who always looks fantastic in whatever he wears, was very intriguing and unique in his own way, added that extra assertiveness to make the night more appealing. I had an awesome time and was greatly influenced by things that occured throughout the night."

Chaz:
"Another great show at the Bean. My only question if where are the pictures from the show? You guys rocked our asses off!"

RESPONSE: None of our usual photographers were at this show. I don't have any pictures from it. ~Josh
