A Word from Josh:
I remember a time in the early days of the band when I really thought that Green Bay was going to be one of our strongest markets. Our first few gigs there proved that this classic midwestern blue-collar town knows how to rock. But things didn't continue to work out that way. Tonight was our first show in Green Bay in almost four years. Well, I suppose we had some catching up to do. We had never played this particular venue before (although I did play here solo twice this past summer). They put us on a temporary stage that was pretty high, but it was also small and unstable. This forced us to tone down our show considerably. In fact, I'd even say that for the first few songs we were downright timid. But the appreciative crowd drew us out of our shells and ensured that we had a pretty darn good time. Once again we must thank our friend Dave Schoepke of the band Boxkar for helping us out in a tough spot. This was the fourth time he has filled in on drums. Considering we were so far from home, we saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd, some of whom had driven up from Fond du Lac, Madison and Milwaukee. It was good to see that we had generated a bit of a buzz in Green Bay and we met a lot of cool people and ran into some major characters. Perhaps it will be less than four years before we make a return visit.     --Josh

The Pie was awesome as usual and you were in great voice, John! Hope you feel better soon, Shane! Thank you so very much for playing The Trooper for us!! You guys rock!! See you next time! UP THE IRONS!!!"

Rick:
"Great show. Keep Rockin"

Bittersweeteus:
"As the storm lies in the air and while I take a long trip to the Bar, I prepare myself for the CherryPie show and think to myself, All I Want is some rock'n'roll. After I arrived and enter the venue, I was surprised because it was not what I expected for being in Green Bay. I guess when you think something is of the norm and find out it isn't, you have to approach it in a different way. It turned out to be a great night. The guys performance was outstanding and John, Dr. Love, who thought he was the cure for what the girls were thinkin of, kept them all interested. As the night ended,I was back on the road again for that long trip home."

Loralee:
"Thanks for the stop. I was looking forward to it. Several of my friends who had never seen you guys also showed up...and they loved the performance!!!! Am looking forward to seeing you again Jan 19."
