A Word from Josh:
Tonight marked the return of our prodigal drummer Rico who had missed last night's show. But, we had to make do without the services of our regular sound man Mark who had another commitment. The production company for this show was hired by Budweiser and their "house tech" Danny stepped up to help us out. He worked hard. But he was working alone and didn't have help setting up mics and running cables (not to mention the fact that he had never seen us before yesterday). This resulted in an unusually long change-over, set-up and sound check. A couple hundred die-hard fans waited patiently for the show to begin. When it finally got underway we were plagued early on by technical difficulties. But you can't stop rock n'roll and things got better and better as the evening progressed. During the second set the pavilion filled up quite nicely with folks who were eager to rock. Our early nerves brought on by technical concerns gradually gave way to a relaxed and exuberant performance down the stretch and we managed to have a pretty good time with a few hundred of our closest friends. --Josh
