A Word from Josh: Spring has sprung. How 'bout some Pie? This great night began with a quality opening act called Ultimatum. They heated things up with a mix of 90s and current rock and brought in an impressive little crowd of their own. Also attending tonight's performances were at least three bachelorette parties. One of the lovely brides-to-be was named Melissa. She joined us on stage and cheered on a rousing rendition of "Don't Treat Me Bad". Her enthusiasm was typical of the strong crowd all night. During our sound check before the show we managed to have a brief rehearsal to prepare some new material. The first debut came early in the second set in the form of Judas Priest's "You've Got Another Thing Comin'". Do we rock or what? Anyway, down the stretch the show ran long and we cut a few songs from the list including our new medley of Neil Sedaka hits. In an odd twist we ended up playing Skid Row's "18 and Life" as an encore despite never rehearsing it properly. Hey, when it's late and everybody is toasted you can get away with shit like that. Sure enough, the song went over gangbusters and led to a second encore. Yep, Kelly's II is always good for a great time. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jen: "It was really great to see you guys last night! Had a blast and fully enjoyed the up front entertainment...haha! See you again soon!" Amanda: "Great show guys!!! 18 & Life kicked ass...c-ya next time!!!" Loreen: "ANOTHER awesome night with The Pie!! I just love shakin' my shit with a bunch of hot guys!! Doesn't get any better than that! Until next time, ROCK ON!" Bittersweeteus: "The CP guys gave a performance that you couldn't walk away from. They blared out those 80's rock songs with such potency, that you thought it would bring the place down. Then there's John, with his good-looks, rock hard physic and a steadfast aggressiveness, was able to lead everyone smoothly thru this hard rockn' show. It was a great night! And what made it even better, was hearing two new songs, especially one of my favorite bad-ass songs- You've got another thing comin!!" I love pie: "Awesome Show, Really loved the new Judas Priest and the bachelorettes were hott." Lyndsay!: "Once Again you guys ROCKED MY WORLD! I had so much fun shakin my ass! Can't wait til next time, and I made it home w/o totaling my car....I wasn't driving!!!" Josh: "You guys rocked out!! I was totally suprised when you busted out 18 n' life. That was awesome. Keep rockin'!" Jerrilynn: "What else can I say . They've said it all ;) Great time as always! 18 and life was awesome. Thanks again for a fun night!. Now on to the great outdoors. The festivals are calling." |
