A Word from Josh:
Tonight marked the big Four-Oh! No, nobody in the band was celebrating a 40th birthday (this time). Rather, this was our 40th time playing at the Badger Bowl. Much like our other recent gigs here, this one was quite crowded and hot. Hundreds of people sweated to the oldies with us which really made for a fun evening. The excitement level remained high all night despite many technical difficulties all over the stage. I know that people out to have a good time tend not to notice those kinds of problems but it's hard not to notice when roadies repeatedly come on stage to fix things. Fortunately, everybody who works for us is very good-looking. During the second set we lost track of time and ended up running very late. The bar turned the house lights on at the end of "Crazy Train" indicating that there would be no encore despite the loud desires of the crowd. Oh well, I guess the Iron Maiden will have to wait for another show.     --Josh
