A Word from Josh:
This was one of the most fun shows we've ever played. The atmosphere was so relaxed and we were really able to enjoy being at one of the more impressive town festivals I've ever seen. This was in no small part due to some very cool people working with us including stage manager Kevin, sound crew Todd and Mike and light tech Jud who were all very professional and friendly. The festival featured 4 different stages including a main stage where none other than Alice Cooper performed for a huge crowd from about 8:00 to 9:30. We began our show immediately after Alice finished on a stage perfectly located to catch the attention of hundreds of concert goers as they made their way from the main stage. Fortunately, the weather turned out great after some menacing skies early on and we had a great show. Other bands that performed during the day included our good friends 76 Juliet and Bad Boy. Add some food, carnival rides and beautiful natural scenery to the equation and you couldn't help but have a great time. As with many other festival shows, there was a prominent showing of children in the crowd for our set. However, instead of just hanging out early on and playing with the confetti, these kids blended in with the adults singing along to the songs and just plain rocking out. Shane asked how such young ones could know so many words to these 80s hits and John responded "Because their parents kick ass!" which got a great response from the crowd. Actually, everybody kicked ass on this night. It will certainly go down as a major highlight of our year. Thank you to everybody who helped make it so great.     --Josh

"The show had a fun laid back, goofing around sort of feeling to it!!! had alot of fun and so did the kids, could of done without the grouchy security people!!!! It's great to see so many kids getting into your music at these summer events!!! See ya at Waunafest!!!!!!!!!!!"

Jessy:
"I have to say, out of the 4 or 5 years that I have been going to shows, This had to be the best one that I have been to, despite the accidental scratch on my face. HAHA I met alot of really cool people who will be at Evansville as well, Had a blast. Even the security people were getting into the fun with me, and I had one of them sneaking beers. HAHA ROCK ON GUYS"

Laurel Canyon:
"Awesome, fun time!! (ok, got that over with - that's a given!!) Loved the "Bad Boy" shirt and the "Shane Shower", (that was sooo unexpected!!)"

Bridge Builder:
"Rock Star - Thanks for the ride from the Days Inn to the Beloit River Fest show - You goys kicked butt !!! Met this really really really hot short haired blond girl who I danced with for awhile but never got her name - Really really really hot chick if you see this, please leave a message on how to het ahold of you if interested??? Keep the 80s alive!!!!!!!!!!"

Jewelz:
"What a show...The weather held out perfectly, the setting was super quant, and the crowd was wild...especially the 4 young boys in the front row. Great show, lots of drinks, and some of the more wildness than takes place at most shows - yikes!! esp towards the end (the security lady's weren't quite liking some of us) But all in good fun, with great friends (Kat, Poison, & Dawn) And Diva Dad...where's nemo???"

Dave (76 Juliet):
"You guys were great at Beloit Riverfest! Whatup Rico!"

Miles:
"Just the week before Beloit Riverfest, a friend of mine stopped by and said he'd like to see an 80's hair band at one of the local outdoor festival's. Saw "Cherry Pie" on the schedule for Riverfest. Didn't know the band but knew we had a hair band just from the title. You guys did not disappoint us!"

Bittersweeteus:
"Once it was announced that Alice Cooper has left the building and the cp band started to play, the people started coming over to the cp stage in droves! The cp guys were rambunctious and full of life!! John's crazy and mind-tingling moves just proves that he's a rock and roll clown. This was a graftifying fix for my cherrypie addiction."
