A Word from Josh:
Rooters has been such a consistently great room for us very recently. The trend would continue on this Friday night as people continued to flow through the IN door throughout the first set. During our break it was difficult to move through the crowd. In fact, it was great to return to the stage for our second set because that's where all the elbow room was. There were plenty of special friends in attendance, but none more so than the one and only Nick AKA "Jack Hammer" -- the man behind the drums for Cherry Pie's first four years. The glasses and baseball cap couldn't conceal the fact that he's still a hottie. For a second straight week John was befuddled by the amount of birthdays in the crowd leading him to speculate aloud about what folks are doing in the Summertime (9 months before March). Yeah, it was a great night and a lot of fun. But it was marred by a mistake I made that I suppose was inevitable. Sooner or later I knew that some day I would get the words switched around at the end of "Cult of Personality" and say "Ask not what you can do for your country!" Well this was that day. Well, there's plenty more that I could say but I'm leaving in a few hours for a family vacation so I'd better start packing. I'll be back in touch in a few days.      --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

KittyKat:
"Once again the guys kicked ass!!!!!!! The crowd was awesome and just kept growing as the night went on! There were lots of sexy ladies and crazy guys in the crowd! Jewelz you were lookin hot as usual and your ******on friends made many a guys eyes pop out and that's not all LOL Nice to see Marybeth, and Jas, and the girl I met in the leopard top (sorry forgot your name) Tammy thanx for dancing with me and helping me elbow that guy! John thanx for the shot shower And then to find out the ultimate dream show may happen just in time for my b-day CP and Firehouse OMG that would be too cool!!!!!!!!!!"

Teri:
"I been waiting for this gig all week!I would have liked to know that Jack Hammer was there to say hello too! Well had a great time as always! Very nice to see Tammy, and meeting Kittykat. Josh hope you could use some of the pictures from Nelson's gig. Hope you all the A very Happy Easter! Oh I hope you will be opening up for Firehouse that be so cool for Kittykat B-Day! Hot music, hot band! xoxo!"

Kim:
"The first we saw Cherry Pie was at Summerfest last year. We thought they were awesome! We came back and we had a blast! It was a little weird being in a place were everyone standing on the dance floor, instead of dancing, but we managed to have an electric time. Hey guys, thanks for bringing back rock 'n' roll, the way it should be!!!! Ciao!"

Jewelz:
"Yes what an awesome time Friday nite was!!! I surely can not think of a better way to have ended a long work week and kick off the weekend but with a night of terrific 80's music, some naughty dancing, more than enough drinking and great cp reg's in the front row (Kitty Kat, Jody, Michelle, Poison, Tammy, Maribeth)!!! Well see everyone at Optyx!! (KittyKat I want that necklace!!!)"

Tammy:
"I just have to agree, the show at Rooters last weekend was a blast!!! I’ve been going to see CP for over two years now (yeah, I know, I jumped on the bandwagon quite a bit later than a lot of you diehards) and I have to say that after about 44 shows (give or take a few, I officially stopped counting after I ran out of fingers... and toes... uh, and there’s at least one show early on at O’Briens that I don’t have much of a memory of ), I still have such a great time. You’d think that it would start to get boring or monotonous seeing a band so many times, but it’s obvious by the amount of fans that keep coming back show after show, that's definitely not the case. Not only do the guys keep "bringin' it" week after week and never let the "fun factor" slip, but it’s always a lot of fun to see so many familiar faces as well as meet new acquaintances."

jim bob:
"you guys are posers."
