A Word from Josh:
Oh my, look at all those asterisks in the setlist. That must mean we had a productive week of rehearsal. Indeed, we were able to put together six new tunes for this show. We had a great crowd, very lively and even bigger than expected. That made for a very exciting setting to debut the new stuff. Reaction was very positive, especially from the Regs on "Smooth Up In Ya" which had been widely requested for a long time. "Hot for Teacher" really brought the crowd's frenzy to a climax coming out of a hot drum solo by Rico. The AC/DC song also worked well for different reasons, but I don't want to spoil the secret for those who missed it this time. Another creative twist that we put into the set list was much more subtle. In fact, I'd be surprised if even one person in the crowd of hundreds even noticed it. During the second set we played four songs in a row that had been originally recorded in the 60s or 70s and then were remade by popular 80s groups. 'Like a "covering the covers" theme. Do I hear any requests to bring back "Tie Your Mother Down" and "Helter Skelter"? Well, it was a great time all night. We were thrilled to find out this week that we had been voted Best Cover Band in the "Best of Milwaukee 2003" Reader Poll in the Shepherd Express. We were motivated to prove them right, and the crowd made it easy for us to be at our best. It was just one of those nights where everything seemed to go right. I even got a few people to buy stuff for my kids' school fundraiser. Now, THAT's what I call a great night!     -Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Teri:
"Missed the first set But the second set sure was hot and steamy! It also was super to hear some new songs witch was full of energy as always! Can't wait to see ya at Rooter's. Love ya C.Pies. Thanks for the lick it up shot!!!"

Tricia:
"My friend and I got lost on our way to the show, but it was well worth the hour it ended up taking us to get there. As always, you guys were HOT. We arrive early and spend and hour or so dying of anticipation until you come on stage.... And now we can hardly wait until the next time we can see you, Nov 8 at Rooters. We talk about it for weeks in advance, crank our 80s rock CDs at home until the neighbors complain, and count down the days. Now we just need our Tshirts to be true Cherry Pie girls... Thanks again for the show."

Leann (76-Juliet):
"I caught some of your show at Kelly's II on Saturday night and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. The crowd was amazing...you really had them going. You all do a fantastic job!"

Sheila:
"The show was great as usual guys!! Loved the new song additions!! The night was a hit and a blast I am sure for all! Well, I at least hope it was still for Stef...after that light fixture fell over right on her!! I hope you are ok Stef!"
