A Word from Josh: When the forecast said that there would be no tornados, we knew that we would have an outstanding night. On stage, John acknowledged the presence of a lot of "regulars" from the early days amongst the huge crowd of several hundred. That really helped make the night even more special as the last club gig before the Summer season. There were several birthday parties going on including for our friends Connie and Ann as well as two bachelorette parties which brought in many Cherry Pie first-timers. It all added up to one huge party and we were thrilled to be the center of attention for most of the night. As has been the norm lately, a friend brought me a gift of food, apparently looking to see me eventually take the stage in a glitzy, 80s-style muumuu. In this case it was Dawn who brought a bag of goodies from Chocolate Fest which was taking place just a few miles up the road. Maribeth brought back Cherry Pie Barbie who spent a lot of time on stage in various locations and positions. The grope factor at the front of the stage was pretty high, but fortunately no one was bitten (you can never be too careful with rabies). Some of the birthday babes were acknowledged on stage and once the fanny slapping started more women came forward "claiming" to be celebrating birthdays (nothing new there). Hey, the more the merrier. All the hijinx carried the second set late into the night, preventing us from doing an encore. If you were left wanting more you'll have your chance to get it at one of our upcoming festival shows. See you under the stars. - Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Julie: "Cherry Pie was AWESOME at Kellys on Saturday night. The sound system was perfect and the sets played were just incredible!!! I can't wait to see them at summerfest!!" Shannon: "This was my 3rd show, I came w/ a "regular" who got me hooked on you guys... thanks for making my birthday special!!! I was one of the legit ones on stage, that Johnny Spandex can spank my rear anytime :) I couldn't get Josh's song 'Ah Leah' out of my head for three days- come back soon and party with us again!!!!!!"
