A Word from Josh: This was our fourth consecutive year celebrating my birthday at Mo's Irish Pub. It's always a great party because it's also Saint Patrick's Day. As is the Saint Patrick's Day tradition at Mo's the entertainment (and drinking) started early with live music getting underway at 10:00 in the morning with Derek Byrne and Paddygrass and continuing in afternoon with Reilly. The authentic Irish festivities also included a troupe of young Irish dancers who performed shortly before our set. It's kinda funny that, although we were positioned as the "headliner," we were easily the least Irish part of the entire event. Regardless, the place was packed all day and the crowd remarkably still had something in the tank as we took the stage shortly after 7:00 pm. Yes, it was a pretty early show because, although it's Saint Patrick's Day, it's also Sunday and many people have to work tomorrow morning. So we rocked with a large gathering of party animals all pretending to be Irish. We had a great time and still managed to pack up and head home before midnight. Sounds like a win-win to me. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
